  • First things first: take inventory of what you already have. This is a great way to save money as you won’t need to buy new items if you can simply use what you have in a different way. For example, if you have heavy curtains or throws that are too warm for spring weather, try switching them out for lighter-weight options such as sheers or quilts.
  • You can also pack away any winter-specific items like holiday decorations or snow globes until next year. Now it’s time to add some freshness back into your home with some new Spring touches! Start by adding greenery in the form of real plants or flowers (or even fake ones if that’s more your style). This will instantly liven up any room and give it a brighter feel.
  • Another simple but effective way to change up your space is by swapping out dark colored pillows and throws for lighter hues such as white, ivory, pale pink or blue.
  • And finally – don’t forget about accessories! Adding seasonal elements like Easter baskets or pretty vases filled with tulips are always welcome additions this time of year
